Following several instances of workplace harassment and in response to Correctional Service Canada’s inaction, Derek Chin, President of UCCO-SACC-CSN for the Pacific Region, met with Brad Vis, the Member of Parliament for Mission-Matsqui-Frazer Canyon. Following the meeting, Vis addressed a letter to Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety Canada. He denounces workplace harassment and questions how situations of power abuse by superiors are handled.
