Members from Joliette Institution for women mobilized today to raise local awareness about the Prison Needle Exchange Program, which is to be deployed over the next few weeks at the local Penitentiary. They were successful in collecting many signatures from citizens who are concerned about the impact of the program on the health and safety of correctional officers.
