ON THURSDAY, DEC 20TH IN MONCTON, CLOSING ARGUMENTS CONCLUDED AT THE PRELIMINARY HEARING FOR OUR TWO MEMBERS FROM DORCHESTER MEDIUM PENITENTIARY IN THE MATTHEW HINES CASE. THE JUDGE WILL DECIDE ON APRIL 5TH 2019 IF THERE IS ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO SEND THE MATTER TO TRIAL.
Our members had the support of colleagues, family members and representatives of the union during the recent proceedings at the Moncton courthouse. UCCO-SACC-CSN will continue to fully back our members. Our two colleagues are ON TRIAL FOR DOING THEIR JOB. We’ll keep you up to date and if mobilization is needed, we’ll be counting on you.
