During the week of September 28th, a succession of mobilization actions took place in the 49 federal institutions across the country. For their new contract, correctional officers have two main demands: improving leave and a decent pay raise.
On the warden’s doors, on CSC’s vehicles, and in all sorts of unusual locations on the premises of the institutions, the message was delivered loud and clear to Correctional service Canada: if you don’t improve our leave system, UCCO-SACC-CSN is going to bring the vacation at work.
In case CSC didn’t get the message, the national executive and mob committee also found a special way to signal to the employer that we deserve a fair contract. Check out the pictures of this great mobilization week.
