FINANCIAL COMPENSATION

To former members of the Canadian Forces

Last chance to claim the financial compensation related to the severance pay

In June 2020, after winning a policy grievance, UCCO-SACC-CSN invited its members who are former members of the Canadian Armed Forces to apply for compensation if they met certain conditions:

  1. Have completed between 9 and 20 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces
  2. Having worked steadily between the Canadian Armed Forces and the Correctional Service of Canada (continuous service).

To date, dozens of members have applied for this allowance and have received the financial settlement.

However, if you meet both of the above conditions and have not yet filed a claim or grievance, you must submit your claim by March 31, 2022.

To do so, you must complete the authorization form available on the UCCO-SACC-CSN website under the resources tab, form, and email it to Military-Grievances.GEN-NHQ@CSC-SCC.GC.CA
