UCCO-SACC-CSN was advised today on a very brief call with the Treasury Board that the Prime Minister will be making an announcement regarding “Mandatory Vaccination” this afternoon. All public service unions have been waiting on a new vaccination framework document from the Treasury Board which is supposed to provide answers to many questions the Bargaining Agents posed to the TB during the initial announcement.
We anticipate receiving this document this week.
We will continue to engage the employer once the information we requested is provided.
